New ‘BAA’ Car Regn Numbers By Year End

Bandar Seri Begawan - New serial registration numbers for vehicles starting with BAA, BAB and so on are expected to be in use before the end of this year.
The use of new serial numbers was revealed in a welcoming remark of Minister of Communications, Pell in Orang Kaya Seri Kema Date Seri Setia Haji Awrang Alu Bakar bin Haji Apong, which was delivered on hehaft by Haji Awang, Alaihuddin bin Pehin Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Laila Utama Haji Awang Mohd Taha, Permanent secretary at the Ministry Of Communications during the launching of prayers before departure for water transportations yesterday.
"'The use of new registration plates in the new format under the Road Traffic Regulations 2008 (identification marks) will be implemented in a short period of time. Users of new serial numbers and new registration format are expected to start before end of 2008," said the minister.
Following the prayers before departures on water vehicles, the discs containing prayers were distributed to owners and entrepreneurs of boats registered in the country.
The launching of prayers before departure for water transportation services is to support the aspiration of the Government of Brunei Darussalam towards a Zikir nation as mentioned by His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Divert um of Brunei Darussalam during the opening of the Knowledge ('invention 2008.
The Marine Department's effort is supported by Brunei Gas Carriers SDN BHD. . Rehire the end of the ceremony; the permanent secretary presented a souvenir to Hj Ibrahim bin Hj Mohd Yassin, Acting Managing Director of Brunei Gas Carrier SDN BHD. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin

080808 marks the day fellow Stargazers Sri Akmarini, better know as Budeh got married to the love of her life Alizam. The Akad Nikah was held in the morning and Majlis Berdikir & Berbedak was held at night the same day.
Majlis Bersanding & Basuh Kaki will be held on Sunday 10th August 2008 Midday.
